Science Panel Calls Global Warming ‘Unequivocal’
An Article from the New York Times

Claim: According to the most recent assement leading climate scientists have come to a final conclusion that human actions are at fault for the rising temperatures thus the leading factor in driving global warming.

Evidence:
1. "Officials from the United Nations agencies that created the panel in 1988 said it [this most recent report on human effects on global warming] spoke of the urgent need to limit looming and momentous risks."
2. "In our daily lives we all respond urgently to dangers that are much less likely than climate change to affect the future of our children." Achim Steiner, executive director of the United Nations Environment Program
3. "The report is the panel's fourth assessment since 1990 on the causes and consequences of climate change, but it is the first in which the group asserts with near certainty - more than 90 percent confidence - that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from human activities have been the main causes of warming in the past half century."

Warrant to Claims:
1. Direct quote from the United Nations - credible source. Also they are referencing a report that has proven facts on the urgency of controlling global warming.
2. Quote from the program director in the United Nations, again a credible source, who is stating his opinion which happens to encourage response to global warming.
3. The panel has come to such a conclusion after 4 trials - credible. They have done 4 trials and are now coming out with their final conclusive answer which they have proven now to be fact.
